Louise has teamed up with Bodhini, an insightful, experienced meditation, reiki and sound healer, to bring you a unique day to welcome the rising energies of springtime. 

This 'Balance & Be' Retreat will provide you with the opportunity to:

  • experience the profound healing qualities of reiki meditation and sound, 
  • create physical space in the body and a calmness of mind,
  • delve deeper into the true meaning of mindfulness, 
  • celebrate the arrival of spring and balance your own energies with the rhythm of nature,
  • receive some well-deserved inner nourishment and deep rest.


Allow yourself to be held in a safe space to explore the wisdom of the body, mind and Mother Nature to create greater calm, freedom and lasting happiness. As we learn to keep in harmony with nature and the seasons, we naturally encourage a flow and ease to return.

What you can expect

This full-day retreat will take place at the beautiful Kinsbourne Barn in Harpenden (more details below on venue and location). You'll be welcomed with a warming tea and a settling meditation to ground and become present, to set intentions and recognise how we are at this time. 

Louise will guide us through a slow, mindful yoga practice to open up the body and prepare us for Bodhini's blissful reiki meditation and empowerment session.

A plant-based, home-cooked lunch will then be served and we'll take time to just be over nourishing food and good company. 

After lunch we'll explore the deeper meaning of mindfulness and be guided through practices by Louise that we can use in everyday life.

Louise will then guide you through a unique yin yoga session accompanied by Bodhini sharing sacred reiki Kotadama chants and reiki drum technique. 

We'll complete our blissful, nourishing day with a  closing circle and contemplation.

Absolutely no experience necessary, just an open mind and a readiness to journey inwards.

 

The day will look something like this:

10.00-10.15 – Arrival at the Kinsbourne Barn where you'll be welcomed with warming tea

10.15-10.30 – Welcoming circle to set intentions , ground and become present

10.30-11.30 –  Gentle, mindful yoga practice led by Lou

11.30-12.30 – Reiki meditation and empowerment session led by Bodhini

12.30-13.45 – Plant-based, homemade nourishing lunch (provided)  

13.45-14.45 –  The deeper meaning of Mindfulness session led by Lou 

14.45-16.00 – Yin yoga led by Lou and accompanied by Bodhini sharing sacred reiki sounds

16.00-16.30 - Closing circle and contemplation

Louise Neicho

Having spent the first 20 years of my professional life working in and with nature I feel a deep connection to the natural world that has promoted numerous benefits in my life. Combining this with a love and appreciation of yoga and mindfulness that spans two decades (9 of them teaching) has enabled me to share practices that help us connect more deeply with nature and ourselves. I have completed over 1000hrs of yoga and mindfulness teacher training and I’m excited to be currently studying an MSc in Mindfulness and Neuroscience. I can honestly say that yoga and nature has saved my life on more than one occasion, and I don’t think I would be the person I am today if it wasn’t for my practice. To bring all of this together is simply a dream come true and I hope you will join me and our like-minded community soon.

Bodhini Hridaya

Bodhini was led to Transcendental Meditation at the age of fifteen to support her in dealing with anxiety. This was a profoundly life changing experience which inspired her to continue with alternative health and spiritual studies into adulthood. Bodhini spent twenty years in the wellness industry as a holistic and spa therapist/ trainer and manager with a particular passion for complementary therapies including Reiki which Bodhini has now been teaching for over ten years. After completing her first yoga teacher training in 2019, Bodhini decided to leave the spa industry behind and commit to sharing reiki, yoga and meditation full time.
