Nourish & Nidra Evening

Friday 15 Oct 19.30-21.00

My Nourish & Nidra evenings are all about turning your awareness inwards and settling into a slower pace of life. Even if the world outside feels a little crazy, we will create this container of peace and calm to help you to nourish the body and soul and turn on the bodies natural 'rest and digest' mode.

These incredibly powerful evenings focus around two standalone practices of Yoga Nidra - a lying down meditation that anyone can take part in, regardless of experience or ability.

Yoga Nidra promotes deep rest and relaxation so is a great way to reduce stress and anxiety. It offers you a space to explore and welcome in all sensations, emotions and experiences in a non-judgemental and open way.

Alongside the Yoga Nidra I weave in several Restorative and Yin Yoga poses which are designed to deeply stretch the bodies connective tissue and awaken the subtle energies to kick-start your bodies healing capacity.

So if you feel that your energies are depleted, your sleep is disturbed and your mind is scattered, then join us for a restful healing evening.

Good nights sleep guaranteed!

PLUS you’ll be able to use the recording again to maintain that sense of calm (31 day access to recording included in your purchase).

What others are saying about Louise's teachings

‘Magic Medicine’

Finola McManus

“These evenings really are magic medicine for my often stressed, chaotic and busy mind! I come to the mat still thinking of what I have or haven’t got done in the week and what I still need to do….and I leave with an amazing sense of wellbeing and calm and have the best deep night’s sleep ever. I am someone who struggles with sleep, so this benefit alone is a huge thing for me. The fact I can do this practice in my pjs is an added bonus”

'It's just bliss'

by Jo Mildren

“After the chaos of the Monday to Friday 9-5 and when you feel like you’ve just got through to the end of the week by your fingernails, Friday night Nourish & Nidra is a wonderful opportunity to create a space for yourself for some peace and tranquillity and to restore some balance in your life ahead of the weekend. Louise has an amazing ability to set the scene to relax. It’s just bliss!”

‘A tonic and soothing balm for the soul’

by Cathy Washbrooke

“Louise’s Nourish and Nidra evenings are both a tonic and a soothing balm for a tired body and mind. For a full hour and a half Louise skilfully offers a thought-provoking evening, integrating Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra with mindful practices and poetry. I always have the most relaxing night’s sleep afterward and I awake feeling rested and nourished. I never miss these evenings.”

'Food for the Soul'

by Orla Mackie

“Nourish and Nidra evenings are very special. They give us a chance to totally relax into different poses. Moving into child’s pose I feel the weight of the world roll off my arms and away! Take a Shavasana and multiply that by 20! It is just such a peaceful evening - food for the soul and gives our fairydust the chance to settle!”

'The best night's sleep'

by Lindsey Hamilton

"Lou’s Nourish and Nidra evenings provide a time for reflection and, more often than not, snoozing! The mix of restful yin (positions/postures?) and meditation means that I never fail to completely relax. I am not a good sleeper but I always have the best night’s sleep after a Nourish and Nidra evening."

'Yoga gives us peace and clarity in order to see the beauty and wonder that is all around us'

Louise Neicho

Having spent the first 20 years of my professional life working in and with Nature I feel a deep connection to the natural world that has promoted numerous benefits in my life. Combining this with a love and appreciation of yoga and mindfulness that spans over two decades has enabled me to share practices that help us connect more deeply with Nature and ourselves. I have completed over 1000hrs of yoga and mindfulness teacher training and in 2023 I received a distinction for my master's degree in Mindfulness where my thesis focused on the wellbeing benefits of connecting with Nature. I can honestly say that yoga and Nature has saved my life on more than one occasion, and I don’t think I would be the person I am today if it wasn’t for my practice. To bring all of this together is simply a dream come true and I hope you will join me and our like-minded community soon.
