The Soothing Sleep Series

Seven yoga and meditation classes to refine your relationship with sleep

“A good laugh and a long sleep are the two best cures for anything.” ~ Irish Proverb

This short course will be useful for you if you struggle to fall asleep, feel you’re not getting enough sleep or the right type of sleep or whether you just want to know more about this pillar of well-being that has so much to teach us.

Sleep is not something we have to work for, its something we have to stop working for. How we think about sleep and our relationship to it, as well as what we believe about it and the language we use around it impacts our experience of it.

Through this course I’m hoping you’ll begin to see sleep as a natural spontaneous meditation as ancient as time itself.

Ranging between 15 and 35 minutes long, each class is designed to be used on their own when time is tight or all together to create your very own workshop - pick and choose which ones suits you.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

  • You can choose from a seated or lying down meditation where we explore our mindset around sleep and can make any necessary shifts
  • There are two flowing practices - one gentle and one more dynamic.
  • If you prefer some restorative or yin yoga you can choose those or add them onto one of the flowing practices.
  • And there is a deep yoga nidra practice that can used at the begin or end of your session or used on its own.
  • PLUS there's a journaling exercise to help you make sense of your thoughts and emotions and effortlessly drift off

Enjoy three months access to this course from the date of purchase.

'Yoga gives us peace and clarity in order to see the beauty and wonder that is all around us'

Louise Neicho

Having spent the first 20 years of my professional life working in and with Nature I feel a deep connection to the natural world that has promoted numerous benefits in my life. Combining this with a love and appreciation of yoga and mindfulness that spans over two decades has enabled me to share practices that help us connect more deeply with Nature and ourselves. I have completed over 1000hrs of yoga and mindfulness teacher training and in 2023 I received a distinction for my master's degree in Mindfulness where my thesis focused on the wellbeing benefits of connecting with Nature. I can honestly say that yoga and Nature has saved my life on more than one occasion, and I don’t think I would be the person I am today if it wasn’t for my practice. To bring all of this together is simply a dream come true and I hope you will join me and our like-minded community soon.

What others are saying about Louise's teaching

'Louise has an in depth knowledge'

by Melanie Sparks

Louise has an in-depth knowledge and explains in an understanding and gentle way. She enables her students to explore themselves and their thoughts within her sessions and beyond.

'Guaranteed to find peace'

by Becci Madole

Lockdown - like life! - has presented a unique set of challenges and stresses. The one place I’ve been guaranteed to find some peace has been in my practice. After a few weeks of going ‘solo’ I was so grateful to find Louise’s classes. They gave my practice variety and focus and added an element of mindfulness and positivity I hadn’t managed in my own. Even on the days I wasn’t sure I had the energy or patience, I only had to find the will to roll out my mat and logon (sometimes in my pjs!). Without fail I found a special something in every class that made me grateful I’d joined.

'suit all levels'

by Julie O'Shea

With the online classes I can do many more classes per week. It has made such a difference to my strength, mobility and sense of focus. Lou is a great teacher and the classes are well structured to incorporate mindfulness, meditation and wellbeing.

Your Questions Answered

  • What do I need to begin?

You will need a yoga mat and comfortable clothing that you can easily move around in, PJ’s work well for this! For some of the classes you will need some props, but we have been experimenting with household pillows, cushions and blankets in place of traditional yoga props. I will let you know at the beginning of class what you need.
