The end of summer can often be difficult to navigate.

Even if we now longer take the whole summer off, it is often a carefree, abundant time spent outdoors with loved ones, exploring new places and living in a light-hearted, free-spirited kind-of-way.

So, when it comes the time to say goodbye to summer and enter back into our usual routines, it can feel challenging, especially if we struggle with the thought of winter approaching.

This year, I want to offer you a new way to navigate this time with ease and grace that will give you some practical tips and tools to use as we enter the autumn, as well as deep rest and nourishment for body, mind and soul.

Join me at the beautiful Oak House Studio set within the grounds of Hatfield House for our ‘Summer Farewell Retreat' to:

  • cultivate a positive attitude towards the turning of the seasons,
  • connect into the abundance and gratitude and lessons learned from the summer,
  • find inspiration and motivation to rekindle a routine that supports your well-being,
  • receive deep rest and nourishment,
  • develop strength and resilience in body and mind,
  • be held and nurtured in a safe space to explore your inner world.

We will have the opportunity to explore areas of this ancient landscape that the public don't usually have access to, including 'the secret garden' which is just perfect for mindful walking.

No experience necessary, just a readiness to journey inwards.

Early Bird Offer of just £111.00 available until 13th August- £134 after this date. Places are limited and sell out quickly so do book your space if you'd like to join us.

Monthly Payment Plan of just £67.00 per month is also available to spread the cost over 2 months (available when booking before 10th July).

"Truly relaxing and restorative day"

by Anna McNay

"What a truly relaxing and restorative day. I feel like a different person than the one who walked into the studio this morning. Louise blends yoga, tai chi, pranayama, sound therapy and connection with nature in such a beautiful way. My support dog, Parsley, who has been to a few retreat days with me now, is always so blissed out, too. Oh, and not to forget the delicious and healthy lunch by the wonderful Indira. These Sundays are highlights in my calendar which I always look forward to. Thank you, Louise."

'Felt like a week's holiday!'

by Jo Mildren

"I feel like I’ve given both my mind and my body a week’s holiday! It was such bliss to have a whole day just for me, to slow down and nourish myself away from the frenzied pace of life. I was expecting the sense of physical well-being but was really pleasantly surprised how beneficial I found it for my mental well-being too. I’m holding on to that feeling!"

What you can expect

This full-day retreat will begin with a welcome warming tea and a settling meditation to ground and become present, to set intentions and recognise where we are at this time. We’ll move slowly into a soft flowing yoga practice to gently open the body and awaken subtle energies and we’ll complete the morning with pranayama and yoga nidra, a powerful lying down meditation to bring us into a state of calmness, bliss, joy and connection.

We’ll then enjoy a homemade yummy nutritional lunch before heading out to the beautiful grounds of Hatfield Park for mindful walking (barefoot optional!) and deep connections to Nature . Once we’ve had our fill of Nature, we’ll journey back to the comfort of the studio to enjoy a deeply nourishing yin and restorative yoga session followed by a relaxing sound journey session. To top off the day we will close with meditation and as well as reflections.

Absolutely no experience necessary, just an open mind and a love of Nature!

The day will look something like this:

10.15-10.30 – Welcome warming tea and settling in

10.30-11.00 – Intention setting meditation

11.00-12.00 – Gentle flowing vinyasa yoga

12.00-12.30 – Pranayama and yoga nidra

12.30-13.30 – Plant-based nutritional lunch

13.30-14.30 – Nature connection in historic Hatfield Park

14.30-15.45 – Deeply nourishing yin and restorative yoga

15.45-16.15 – Healing sound journey

16.15-16.30 – Closing meditation and reflections

'Classes are a life-line'

by Cathy Washbrooke

'Louise’s classes are a life-line! She is a very warm, nurturing and knowledgeable teacher. She also integrates elements of mindfulness through various readings, poetry and insights to deepen the practice and allow deep rest to take place. I always feel lifted, yet grounded after each of Louise’s yoga sessions. '

Your Teacher

'Yoga gives us peace and clarity in order to see the beauty and wonder that is all around us'

Louise Neicho

Having spent the first 20 years of my professional life working in and with Nature I feel a deep connection to the natural world that has promoted numerous benefits in my life. Combining this with a love and appreciation of yoga and mindfulness that spans over two decades has enabled me to share practices that help us connect more deeply with Nature and ourselves. I have completed over 1000hrs of yoga and mindfulness teacher training and in 2023 I received a distinction for my master's degree in Mindfulness where my thesis focused on the wellbeing benefits of connecting with Nature. I can honestly say that yoga and Nature has saved my life on more than one occasion, and I don’t think I would be the person I am today if it wasn’t for my practice. To bring all of this together is simply a dream come true and I hope you will join me and our like-minded community soon.

'Louise is so kind and caring'

by Emma Scinaldi

'I started as a complete beginner and was worried I would not be able to follow the moves, but Louise is so kind and caring, plus really knows her stuff so is able to give very clear, supportive guidance. There is never any pressure as Louise always offers alternatives. With care and kindness she has encouraged me to really develop my practice. I always feel really energised after a session with Louise but I am also starting to notice a higher level of peace and tranquility in my day to day life. I feel strong and calm at the same time!

'A priceless gift'

by Liza Timpson

'These are more than yoga sessions! Louise has a gift at transferring a real sense of inner calm and peace, in what has been very challenging times. Her lessons are creative and extremely useful in understanding how to cope in challenging situations. I informed a friend quite simply attending online has been a game changer for me. I feel ready to conquer my day or week ahead. A priceless gift.'
