“The heart that breaks open can contain the whole universe” ~ Joanna Macy
Life is messy. The world can feel a little crazy. And we can feel overwhelmed by it all.
Often our habitual reaction is to distract ourselves from it, shut it all out, try to create perfection and in the process, numb ourselves to what is happening.
This can prevent us from being present with all the joy, wonder and gratitude that is naturally there within our lives. We miss out on the beauty of this precious human life and are unable to achieve our full potential.
This is where mindful compassion can support our lives and give us the tools we need to become a ‘Compassionate Mess’ and find a compassionate way in this crazy, messy world.
Bodhini and Louise have teamed up again to bring you this 'Compassionate Connections' Retreat Day where they will be sharing with you how mindful compassion can help us navigate uncertainty, personal challenges, setbacks, pain and disappointment, and ultimately lead towards taking action to contribute to a better world.
This 'Compassionate Connections' Retreat Day will provide you with the opportunity to:
- Explore mindful compassion techniques that can support your own private life and help you find a compassionate way in the world,
-
Create physical space in the body and a calmness of mind through gentle, heart-centred yoga,
- Experience a compassion ceremony featuring mudras & mantras (sacred hand gestures & chants) and a heart-focused meditation,
- Be immersed in the healing vibrations of a soothing soundbath comprised of Himalayan and Crystal singing bowls,
- Learn compassionate tools and techniques that you can use in everyday life,
-
Celebrate the turning of the seasons and balance your own energies with the rhythm of Nature,
- Receive some well-deserved inner nourishment and deep rest.
No experience necessary, just a readiness to journey inwards.
